You know there's more fun to do with Mac OS X, watch for konfabulator - kind of widgets on the desktop. Apple take this seriously and invent another variant - Dashboard which will be generally available in next version Max OS X - Tiger.
Ok, that would be next wave. I am sure Windows have sth similar and probably make official product build into Longhorn. The question is would it be as successful as in Max OS X.
